Hi! My name is Sammy -- you can read my profile for all the bio stuff. I am "writing" this blog with mom's "help" -- a cute way to say she is writing the blog from my "point of view".
Take a moment to consider the world from the one foot level. Everything but cats and little dogs are BIG. Well, won't talk about squirrels, they are annoying and too fast to catch. Lizards taste awful and grasshoppers are entirely too crunchy. I can't get into the car without help and have to sit in a car seat to be able to see out of the window.
Don't get me wrong -- life is pretty easy. The cats treat me like their very own kitten -- I work hard at my lessons, but cleaning the back of my head with my paw is REALLY hard to do, my legs are way too short to reach. Squeaks keeps trying to teach me the finer points of hunting -- she is FAST and can't understand where she is going wrong with her teaching methods. I keep telling her that I am a dog, but she says I am way to small to be a dog, I just smell like one, is all. She brought me a live treat the other evening -- something mom called a mole. It looked like a mouse with a funny nose. Mom let us play with it for a little while and then made it disappear -- we still haven't figured out if she eats them or not.
Well, I am going to go now, Fritz wants me to go play with him. I have to check the food bowl first -- gotta maintain priorities, you know.
